Nike Dunk Low SB "Paris"
In collaboration with Maison Kitsuné
In 2003, Nike SB, in collaboration with Maison Kitsuné, organized the event White Dunk: Evolution of an Icon in Paris. During the event, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Paris” was unveiled, produced in only 200 unique pairs. Each shoe features canvas panels showcasing original artwork by Bernard Buffet. There was no official public release: the sneakers were distributed exclusively to galleries, boutiques, and event participants.
Bernard Buffet (1928–1999) was a French expressionist painter and a leading figure in 20th-century art. Renowned for his distinctive style and commitment to figurative art, Buffet rejected abstraction, creating works that convey stories and emotions through strong lines and intense colors. His collaboration with Nike on the Dunk Low “Paris” represents a rare intersection of fine art and urban fashion.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Paris” is one of the rarest and most sought-after sneakers in the world, with only 200 pairs ever produced. Its collectible value continues to rise, and each pair is a unique piece of design and sneaker culture history. Owning a pair with the original event kit means possessing not just a rare shoe, but a cultural artifact that unites art, fashion, and passion.
