This rare Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520 features an authentic prototype dial, an exceptional “Blue Damask” configuration officially confirmed by Bücherer. Created during Rolex’s internal development process, this dial presents a lighter blue tone, silver sub-dials, and blue numerals—details that never appeared in serial production and make this example uniquely distinctive.

The design recalls the electric-blue dial of the white-gold Daytona, yet stands apart through its unusual colour harmony and experimental aesthetic.
