One Piece Card Game — Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5 Manga Alternate Art PSA 10 (Japanese)

Issued for the One Piece Card Game 1st Anniversary set OP-05 “Awakening of the New Era” (2023), this Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5 Manga Alternate Art captures the saga’s defining turning point: the awakening of Luffy’s power and the debut of Gear 5, the “Warrior of Liberation,” as envisioned by Eiichiro Oda. Within modern anime collectibles, few images are as instantly recognizable—or as culturally consequential—as this transformation, making the card a flagship artifact of the OP05 era.

Its “Manga Background” finish—built from original manga panels framing the central artwork—places this edition among the most coveted chase cards in the entire One Piece TCG, supported by an exceptionally low pull rate that has made high-grade examples notably scarce on the market. Presented here in Japanese, widely regarded by collectors as the original and most desirable printing for overall production quality and holofoil impact, the card is encapsulated by PSA with a GEM MINT 10 grade, the benchmark standard for registry-focused collecting and long-term preservation. With comparable market activity showing significant appreciation over the past 12 months, this PSA 10 Japanese copy stands as a museum-grade centerpiece for a serious One Piece collection and an investment-aware acquisition for those targeting top-tier modern grails.
