The Jacques Selosse Millésime 2002 Magnum is a masterful vintage Champagne crafted by Anselme Selosse, one of the most revered and unconventional winemakers in Champagne. This cuvée is a Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut, made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Avize, and vinified with native yeasts in French oak barrels.

The 2002 vintage is known for its precision, depth, and oxidative finesse, showcasing a focused expression of lime citrus, chalk, and roasted brioche. The wine undergoes extended aging on lees, often exceeding eight years, and is bottled with minimal dosage, resulting in a Champagne of remarkable tension, minerality, and savory complexity.

Presented in magnum format (1500 ml), this bottle offers enhanced aging potential and aromatic development. With only a few hundred magnums released, it is considered one of the most coveted vintage expressions from Selosse, often described as “a total turn-on” by critics and rated 97/100 by Vinous.
