Domaine Jacques Selosse is one of the true icons of Champagne. Founded in 1949 by Jacques Selosse and carried forward by his son Anselme since 1974, the domaine cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards located primarily in Grand Cru sites such as Avize, Cramant, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Ambonnay, Aÿ, and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. With Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as its main grapes, the estate produces around 50,000 bottles per year.
Anselme Selosse revolutionized Champagne with his innovative philosophy: oak barrel aging, controlled oxidation, and minimal dosage after disgorgement. Inspired by biodynamic farming and permaculture, his non-interventionist approach made Selosse a benchmark for independent grower-producers (RM – Récoltant Manipulant), profoundly influencing the Grower Champagne movement.
The Lieux-Dits Collection is legendary for its rarity and collector appeal. It offers a unique tasting journey through six different parcels, including the exclusive crus Les Chantereines Grand Cru and Chemin des Châlons Grand Cru. The set comprises six bottles (three Blanc de Blancs and three Blanc de Noirs), each expressing the individuality of its terroir.
Presented in its Original Wooden Case (OWC), this collection is a true jewel for collectors. With fewer than 600 cases produced, and demand steadily rising, the Selosse Lieux-Dits Collection has become one of the most coveted treasures in the Champagne world. The latest disgorgement (2022) further enhances its prestige, offering an exceptional snapshot of Selosse’s artistry.
